On Who Island, one thing is crystal clear. We love Doctor Who. But, since we all know what massive geeks we are, let's put that aside for a moment. Who Island is also the home of the band Reality? Maybe... and live music happens here from time to time...whether it's a small acoustic set in the Pints of Rassilon pub or a full blown rock concert at the Hartnell Amphitheater.
It's all about music, sci-fi, life, love, and laughter. Come see us on Who Island.

Watch your favorite episodes
Who Island features a cinema that is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Each week we will bring you a different episode of Doctor Who...the classics and the new series. All your favorite episodes and you can watch them whenever you want. Send us an email if there's a particular story you want to see.
PINTS OF RASSILON
A pub where you can hang out, meet friends, and have a drink.
Pints of Rassilon is also an intimate venue for listening to live acoustic music. Members of Reality? Maybe... and other artists will drop in from time to time.
THE MALDOVARIUM
A stunning nightclub where all Whovians (and non-Whovians) are welcome.
When it's time to throw down, no one knows how to party like the Whooligans! Come to The Maldovarium for a drink and a bit of dancing. Good times with good friends. That's why Who Island is here. Hope to see you soon!

A real band in a virtual world
THE BAND
First and foremost, this sim was intended to be the home of one Second Life's premiere live bands.
Drawing from an incredibly eclectic range of influences, Reality? Maybe... takes live music in Second Life to an entirely new level. This power trio records original compositions and then performs inworld with the goal of providing the most realistic live concert experience in Second Life.

You can catch live concerts from the band right here on Who Island. Since they live here, you'll probably bump into Tristan, Alex, and Zen from time to time.
We're all about The Doctor!
THE FANDOM
While planning and designing the sim, and because we're also enormously geeky Whovians (or Whooligans), the concept of making this a hangout for Doctor Who fans was raised. That's when Tristan's rusty and quite dim light bulb (sorry, Tris) started to glow and the resurrection of Who Island began.

We know you guys eat, sleep, and breathe Doctor Who. So do we! That's the other reason the island is here. It's a place for Whovians to congregate and chat, dance, hang out, watch an episode or two, catch a live concert, and get to know each other.
Trekkies are also welcome!
WHAT IF YOU'RE NOT A WHOOLIGAN?
Okay, so we've already sold this thing as "a place for Whovians". Hey, if Doctor Who is not your thing you're still VERY welcome here. Most Whooligans love ALL science fiction (Tristan, for instance, also loves Trek and Star Wars and Alex will watch anything with spaceships in it) and some people are coming here to watch a concert and they might not like sci-fi at all. It's all good. We're not assholes. Everyone is welcome here.
